I'll admit it.  For years I had a problem when I was out on the road in the heat and especially after a cup of coffee.  Body Odor.  I even carried a miniature deodorant stick with me.  It was awful.

One evening I was watching one of those tacky info-science programs.  They put a different kind of deodorant on one armpit of each of five guys.  They all went and played a vigorous game of football.  After an hour or so, a pretty young woman was asked to smell all 10 armpits: the ones with the five kinds of deodorant and the 'control armpits' without deodorant.  And she rated each one's body odor from 1 to 10 as compared to each one's untreated armpit.  The crystal deodorant won by far.

I had know about crystal deodorant for years but had never tried it thinking, "yeah sure, minerals salts are going to win out over all the high tech pharmocological research.  Well, I'm here to tell you it works!  I haven't had a problem since.  Seriously.

I won't use deodorants that contain aluminum and so have been confined to the health food store products.  I discovered that among those, the ones that contained Lichen worked marginally better than the others.  So in addition to the Crystal products I also use a product that contains lichen and lavender.  Together they are invincible.  Its such a relief.
